Both 689 and 692 were noted flying out of Skrydstrup in March, 692 in Tiger colours

F-16AM E-190, one of only six Block-10 Fighting Falcons of Fighter Wing, was painted a NATO compass rose on it‘s fin to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the NATO on April 4th.

Noted on 08.04. at Fighter Wing during a very nice day were the following Esk 727/730 F-16AM/BM:

F-16BM ET-022 (Have Glass V), ET-198 and ET-613 (Have Glass V) plus 692 of RNoAF (still in tiger colours) and FB24 of Belgian AF (in OCU special colours). All five flew two missions each (the morning mission took off from 9.35-10.06h, the afternoon from 12.45-13.00h).

E-008 and E-609 (Have Glass V) departed on 9.35h as QRA "Moon Beam" and they came back after their usual terrific 2 hours an 15 minutes with one belly tank only.

F-35A of Esk 727 active were L-007, L-008 and L-009. All flew one mission in the morning.

T-17 T-414 of FSNSK also did one mission.

Visiting were FinAF/TukiLLV Learjet 35A LJ-1 of 2.Flight and PC-12/47E PI-02 of 4.Flight.

As can be seen the training of Ukranian pilots is in full run with mostly F-16BM of all three air forces are active. The Belgian F-16 made several approaches. The QRA exchanged at least one of their F-16 as E-008 went off after it´s mission and E-597 came as a replacement. Possible another one of the QRA was exchanged.

Noted here on 18.04. and on a very active day were the following Fighter Wing/Esk 727/730 F-16AM/BM:

Taking off from 9.47 to 10.13h were:

E-074, E-611, ET-198, ET-613 (Have Glass V) and ET-614. On 10.35h E-017 and E-609 (Have Glass V) performed an Alpha Scramble as QRA "Moon Beam". E-008 departed clean to Karup with two smokers on the wing tips for one or two Flying Displays there with display pilot TEO. It came back in the afternoon.

Also flying were Esk 727 F-35A L-008 and L-009. Of the international force RNoAF F-16BM 692 (tiger camo) and Belgian F-16BM FB-24 (OCU special camo) flew in the morning, plus F/A-18C HN-440 of HävLLv 11 (still with HävLLv 21 markings on the nose).

The afternoon mission departed from 12.41 to 13.27h and comprised off:

F-16AM/BM E-004, E-598, E-601, E-611, ET-198 and ET-613 (Have Glass V) and F-35A L-007, L-008 and L-009.

RNoAF 692 and Belgian AF FB-24 also flew plus HävLLv 11 HN-427 and HN-440.

Flying once in the morning was FSNSK T-17 T-414 while in the afternoon EH-101 Merlin Mk.512 M-512 of Esk 722 flew.

All together 26 fighter missions were flown by three types of four nations!

Another F-16AM planned for a Have Glass V repaint should be E-024, noted at Aalborg today. When this will rolled out in many weeks it will be quite shortlived in Flyvevabnet service.

As ever Danske Flyvevåbnet created a most interesting day and noted on a sunny 2.5. with Fighter Wing, Esk727/730 were the following F-16AM/BM:

Taking off from 9.40 to 10.10h were:

E-011 (QRA, Moon Beam, Have Glass V), E-016, E-603, (QRA, Moon Beam), E-608, ET-022 (Have Glass V), ET-198, ET-613 (Have Glass V, now minus the Grupo 6 des Caza badge), ET-614.

Norwegian F-16BM 692 in Tiger colours also flew.

The full complement of Esk 727 F-35A with L-007, L-008, L-009 and L- 010 took off.

The afternoon mission took off from 13.00-13.33h and was only a little quieter and again the Ukranian training consists of F-16BM ET-022, ET-198, ET-613 and Norwegian 692. F-16AM E-016 and E-608 flew again and departed to some kind of Baltic mission. As a surprise F-16AM Block 10 E-190 (with NATO compass rose on fin) departed in Flying Display configuration, obviously to Karup. It came back later.

All four F-35A again took off!!!

During the take off phase F-16AM Block 10 E-194 arrived from Aalborg in clean and very bright condition, most presumably after maintenance at the Hovedværksteder. It was last noted at Skrydstrup in 2022.

A short visit was made by retro camo T-17 T-415 just before 9.00h and it departed shortly later.

FSNSK T-17 T-414 flew one mission.

25 fighter missions were as brilliant as the weather!
