Unknown MiG-21MF at Dresden noted on April 28th, 1991

Never found out which serial and operator was MiG-21MF with c/n 11507. This a/c was seen at the maintenance facility in Dresden-Klotsche on April 28th, 1991.

again a long shot, but who known the operator and serial.

I can't remember the paintscheme and didn't take any pictures during this more or less clandestine raid

Hello René,
The Iran AF serials I found IIRC in a BAR (British Aviation Review) from that period. But I'am not 100% sure about that. Funny that you was there also on that day! Sometimes it was busy around airfields in those days with spotters, great times!

Hi,

The only Iranian aircraft present were some former NVA MiG-21PF's destined for the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Most (if not all) of the other aircraft were Iraqi aircraft present for overhaul and consequently impounded following the events in 1990/1991.

The four digit numbers i.e. 8235, 8236, 8711 etc. were reportedly worknumbers issued by the Flugzeugwerft.

Habe eine andere Liste gefunden. Die AN-2 war tatsächlich als 469 zu sehen. Ich habe dazu geschrieben 'geht nach Landshut' und später dazu 'als D-FGGG'!

Die 52 12 war auch präsent sehe ich...!
