This morning, Fri, 07. Oct 2011 04:33:15, an anonymous person has left the following comment on my Warthog News blog post http://warthognews.blogspot.com/2011/10 ... fresh.html

The 74FS A-10s returning should be arriving at Lajes tomorrow evening, and then departing back to the USA after the weekend on Tuesday, October 11.

Anybody, especially from the Lajes spotter group, who will have the opportunity to catch them at Lajes Field enroute back to CONUS? I would be very grateful for any photos.

Hi,

Yesterday afternoon landed 5 A-10 more a KC-10A from 74th and 75th.

Also landed a new Dornier 328-110 for USAF (if interested you can see the first photos on airliners.net)

João, did you take any stopover shots of returning 23rd Fighter Group A-10Cs? And could you provide a log with serial numbers? That would be great.

André and João, please let me tell you: You did a great job to caught at least the first five of them. And be aware to catch the others on their way back to Continental United States (CONUS).
