A friend and I are hopeing to go spotting here possibly in November 2010 ,any ideas on hotel room numbers? .And which would be the best Hotel to use ,number crunching only ,and if any kind soul could recomend a good route to go by ?. New York, Houston,or anywhere from europe etc etc any help would be much appreciated.

My favourite was the Hotel Aeropuerto. Rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor give good views all day long (and you can open the windows which helps a lot at night), be sure to ask for airport side, they will know what you want. Rooms weren´t that expensive (I think around 30 or 40 euro) and the hotel is basic but good.

Just don´t fly Aeromexico,as they are terrible,at least as their B767s are concerned.I have just flown 11 hours from MEX to CDG in one.Absolutly awful.
