Yesterday SAAF were training for the "Day of Reconciliation" fly-by that will take place tomorrow.



Formation #1
6887 DC-3T and 8010? Casa 212 (confirmation of the Casa needed)

Formation #2
8030 PC12, 650, 651 Be200s, 3002, 3004, 3005, 3006, 3008 Ce208s

Formation #3
18 PC-7s (a 16 diamond and 2 chase planes, 12 standard red/white and 6 Silver Falcon c/s (#1, #1, #2, #3, #4, #5))

Formation #4
2 C-130 (403 +1)

Formation #5
8 Hawk (incl one in South African flag colours)

Formation #6
ZS-RSA BBJ, 11, 14, 15 JAS39C, 05, 07 JAS39D

There were also a helicopter formation in the air that never came near us, 5-6 Oryx and 3-4 A.109.

Todays "Day of Reconciliation" fly-by was canx due weather. We had 100+ mm in 36 hours!!
