Question about Singapore A-4's

Post by Interceptorsaurus »

Hi all.

I have a question about the identity of the Singapore Airforce's Skyhawks that were part of their demoteam Black Knights in 2000.
It has been quite a while ago I saw these 4 flying at Tengah but I've never succeeded in tracking the real identity of the A4's nrs. 1-2-3-4 aside from their team-codes. The team was completed with F16A's nrs 5 & 6.
If there is anyone out there who has any info on these 4 Skyhawks I would really appreciate it if you'd reply to this message and fill me in.
It might be a longshot but hey, you never know!!
Thanks in advance for the efforts,

greetings,
Jos.

Hi Erwin!

GREAT! Thanks for your reply, that's 25% solved so far...!! :P
As I said, it was a longshot but who knows, somebody else might have some additional info on these machines!

Greetings,
Jos.

In Januari 2002 we red number 1 as 148504 on the nosewheeldoor. Until now we don't know the Singapore AF serial.

Hey Patrick.

Would that possibly have been 148304? This would be RSiAF 918.
I don't know of 148504 to have been delivered to Singapore. This one has been delivered to Argentina.

Best regards,
Jos

Hey Jos,

Saw 918 on the same date. 148504 was delivered to Singapore according to Joe Baughers list and Scramble DB.
148504 is c/n 12697. C/n 12967 was delivered to Argentine AF
