Not confirmed yet, but rumours are that this will be the case around the beginning of June... No idea which c/s will be painted on, because at the moment she flies around in Star Alliance c/s (white, black tail, S.A. titles)

An Air Finland 757 will be leased (to replace F-GZHV) between 26th and 29th April. (Luchtvaartnieuws.nl reports the lease as "april 25 / may 27th & juni 30th / september 30th".)
Luchtvaartnieuws.nl is correct in this case. OH-AFI will be a "regular" at AMS for the time being...

PH- registered B787s???

TUI Group has announced that it has ordered 11 B787s and 50 B737s.
In the press article on Yahoo, they suggest that Arkefly will also operate these aircraft:
TUI Group plans to put the airplanes into service with Arkefly in The Netherlands, Belgium-based Jetairfly, Thomsonfly of the United Kingdom, Germany-based TUIfly and the Scandinavian operator TUIfly Nordic. All TUI Group airlines will leverage the 787's breakthrough economics, passenger appeal and environmental efficiency to continue and expand services within Europe and to Asia and North America.
So, when are we going to see them at EHAM?

No date is mentioned in this luchtvaartnieuws article, but skyliner-aviation.de mentions the following on it's website:
"TUI group orders 11 787s and 50 B737-800s for delivery 2010 - 2013".

The same article mentions that Jetairfly and Arkefly will probably be the first in Europe to operate the 787.

Weird detail is the fact that it shows blue and not yellow aircraft:

I don't know if this is as weird as you say. Isn't TuiFly the only one changing to yellow? Maybe the other ones (Thomson, Arke, Jetair, Nordic, did I forget one? (Jet4you is green)) will stay blue?

Just a thought.

I was under the impression all 'TUI' carriers would be repainted in 'yellow'...

Heard from a very reliable source that OH-AFI will return to AMS on June 30th for the second period...

B763 PH-MCV, now in service for BD (Star Alliance) is reported to find her new operator in VARIG (PR-VAE). So I guess that this one will not return into service with Arkefly again?!

Cheers,
Eric

Eric,

It's only an allocation for now.

Still, i hope preperation for new operator will be done at AMS... ;)

As long as it's an allocation, the new operator can change.

EDIT: seems to have been confirmed by an ArkeFly rep.
The aircraft is planned for Brazil after the 2007 summer season.

Bye, CU.

No info / tie-up to type / msn yet.
I have heard from a reliable source that the PH-TFA will be the first B737-800 for ArkeFly, and will carry the current blue colour scheme.
