Good evening!

Voor de Nederlanders: http://www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl/news/?id=29241" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For the English:

Airbus has started to build a new assemblyline for the A350XWB-program. In the new complex at homebase Toulouse, the wings will be attached to the fuselage. The new productionfacility has a floorspace of 74.000 square meters.

According Airbus, the new plant is eco-efficient and opens up space for more then 1000 employees. The whole build would be worth a 140 million euros.

According Tom Enders from Airbus, there will be a giant progression with the new development of the A350. At the end of 2008 the design of the new plane was frozen. The new plane offers seating for 270 to 350 passengers and must be in use in 2013.

With 2 years from the launch date, 478 orders have been made from 29 customers. And with that, the A350 is the new bestselling airplaneprogram in aviation history, according Airbus.
