Accident: ACG B744 at Hong Kong on Sep 21st 2010, gear collapse while turning onto runway

An Air Cargo Germany Boeing 747-400, registration D-ACGD performing flight 6U-8732 from Hong Kong (China) to Karaganda (Kazakhstan),
was turning onto Hong Kong's southern runway 25L for departure when the left hand main gear collapsed.
No injuries occurred, the airplane received substantial damage.
Following the mishap at just before 18:00L (08:00Z) the runway was closed for approximately 10 hours causing delays of up to 70 minutes to 195 flights, the airport authority said on Tuesday (Sep 22nd).
ACG said, that the left main gear buckled causing the left hand wing and left hand engines to hang down however without contacting ground.
The airplane needed to be unloaded and fuel removed from the aircraft before the airplane could be towed to a maintenance hangar.
The landing gear needs to be replaced on the aircraft, that had been acquired from Martinair only 14 days ago.
The airplane had been fitted with a new landing gear six weeks ago.
