A cargo plane crashed into a residential area of Pakistan's largest city, sparking a huge blaze and causing at least 11 casualties.
The aircraft came down in Karachi with eight crew on board, less than two minutes after taking off.
All eight, including six Pakistanis, are thought to have died in the crash, with at least three casualties on the ground.
Reporters at the scene said several buildings were on fire and loud explosions could be heard.
The plane crashed in a housing complex for naval officers in the neighbourhood of Dalmai, it is reported.
Aviation authority spokesman Pervais George said the Russian-made Ilyshin IL-76 cargo plane was heading to Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, when it came down.
The crash is the third in less than four months in Pakistan.
Earlier this month in Karachi, 21 people were killed when a small passenger plane crashed soon after take off.
