Groningen Airport Eelde is allowed to extend main runway

Only in Dutch, but after 35 years of legal battles, Groningen Airport Eelde is finally allowed to extend the runway to 2500 meters (the main runway is now 1800 meters).

The runway will be ready next year.

Didn't know this is mentioned here, can't find it.

From Ryanair webpage.

And from May Ryanair flying twice weekly from Groningen to: Milan, Palma and Marseille !!

You can already book this flights.
