German media report that a fighter plane (nationality yet unknown) was shot down over Turkish territory, near the Syrian border.

EDIT 12:58: some sources report that it was a drone.

Helibase close to Idlib retaken by Syria with support of Russia middle of this week.
The Syrian loss of the base desribed on these sides 1 or 2 years ago with pictures.

5 Russian Mi-24 operating from Tiras air base against Palmyra since 5 Nov.

Russia operate at least 12 Mi-24P and 5 Mi-8 from Latakia air base. Mi-24 are very busy.
Mi-24 from Budenovsk and Mi-8 (212) from Novosibirsk Tolmachevo.
