Belgian C-130H retirement

Hi all,

With delevery of the first A400M to the Belgian Airforce Component in 2018 I am wondering: which would be the first Hercules that will be retired upon delivery of the first of seven A400m's?

thats too early to say, that depends on how the conversion to the new type is going and the rate of delivery.
the Belgian C-130H fleet is already overstretched, so i guess we could see the first retirement when sufficient A400M's are delivered, im guessing 2022/23.
