Stratocruiser have a helicopoter Mi-8AMTSh who newly defected to Ukraine.
According Twitter or W is it Red 62 and is camouflaged.

It is possibly one of two helicopters (or more) of the following.

Helicopter 1 (most possible) from Korenovsk. The question is if it is grey or camouflaged.
063-01 Mi-8AMTSh 62 red RF-92780 2015 Korenovsk VKS

Helicopter 2 from Chita. Helicopters from Chita has before been in the war area.
Have Mi-8AMTSh in the red 62 aera and is camouflaged.

Vyzma have new transferred Mi-8 in the 50 aera, but not yet 62?.

The Kornevo regiment have the area transport responsibility.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have launched a massive strike on an airfield in Kursk Region. This was reported by the RBC-Ukraine news agency with reference to sources in the Security Service.

Here's What We Know

The strike was carried out by kamikaze drones on the night of 27 August 2023. The fact of the attack is confirmed by Russian media. Russian fighter jets and air defence systems are stationed at the airfield in the Kursk region.

It is reported that the airfield was attacked by 16 drones, of which almost all hit the target. Russian air defences were only able to intercept three drones.

The Ukrainian Security Service's kamikaze drones hit four Su-30 fighter jets, one MiG-29 and two Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and cannon systems. The radars of the S-300 air defence system were also hit.

The extent of damage to Russian military equipment is not specified.

Sat pictures of Kursk Khalino shows that the aircraft basing was

1 sqdn of ca 12 Su-30SM
1 sqdn of ca 12 Su-35
1 sqdn of Su-25 (civil platform)
som MiG-29 in storage

The aircraft are certainly rotating much.

One squadron was visible at Ryazan-Dyagilevo of 12 Su-30SM (from Kursk?)

You are right Erwin with the burning Tu-22M3.

The same picture as your in a Swedish newspaper.

But I am sure it has been a fuel handling accident with a Tu-22M3 a few years agoa also.

And the Earth shows a MiG-31 fighter in bits in the missle handling area.
In this side a few years ago.

All on Soltsy air base.
your observation and opion combine nicely with the endless waterfall of mis-information spead by certain parties. But... the 'ever facts and truth finding & checking' BBC also mentions it. so... But ...they do call the TU22 a 'flagship' bomber. that's a wee bit exaggerated.
