Argentine cant buy the ex-norvegian Orion planes, because they dont have the money. One of the planes are already in AMARG for months now, waiting to be flown over. Judging by that, I dont beleive the F-16 will be handed over soon.

...the US government indeed intervened
to try and stop Argentina to buy Chinese jets of the JF-17 type.

The remaining nineteen Danish F-16s are/were pledged for Ukraine.

That country is already slated to receive dozens of F-16’s from Denmark and the Netherlands. It takes years to have enough pilots and crew for them, let alone 24 F-16s more.
And this order for Argentina is already in the pipeline for years, before Ukraine was even talking about F-16’s.

There is a huge difference between donating them or selling mil. stock for hard cash or a nice swap of any sort, if you catch my drift.

F-16s alone cannot win the battle alone. even if they 'd have huge stockpiles of bombs and missiles. F-16s alone cannot compensate the shortage of shells for the Ukr. artilley to keep the opponent at bay.

and as for training, the same need for qualified men and training time that applies for Ukr AF, will do so for the FAA or any other prospect customer.
Argentina is not very wealthy and are cutting costs left and right as you read these words. So, Can they afford such an acquisition ? and keep 'em flying even if such a deal was approved by the US gov. (even if financed by the US State dep.) anyway?

We'll see,
Hoera d'revolutie, 't is eindelijk zover', maar de nwe leiders blijken net zo autoritair

The Danish F-16s also have a Martin Baker ejection seat? The British didn't agree to the maintenance of the ejection seats from the Super Etendards, so they don't fly anymore. Should it be different with the F-16?

It seems there is some movement in the P-3 matter.
