USS KEARSAGE

According to the Israeli Press, the USS Kearsarge passed thru the Suez Canal "yesterday" on her way "to Libya". Photos shows CH-53s and V-22s on deck.

USS Kearsarge/LHD-3 departed on her present criuse on 27th August,2010.VMM-266(R) (MV-22B) is the core unit with elemants from unknown HMM and HMLA units providing AH-1W/UH-1N and CH-53E.

The AV-8Bs are from VMA-542.

There should also be a 2 aircraft HSC MH-60S detachment on board.
