Russia is sending three more ships to the Med Sea to boost fleet near Syria.

The deployed ships are two destroyers, including the 610 Nastoichiviy, the flagship of the Baltic Fleet, and the Moskva missile cruiser, which will join the earlier mentioned intelligence ship Priazovye (Vishnya class), deployed to the area on sunday, "to gather current information of the escalating conflict", interfax informed.

Moskva direct comes from Caribean visit (logged last 27 august).

Today came information of the phone intercept of the gas artillery shelling (BM-21) in Damascus 21 August 2013. It was made of the Oker, German Intelligence ship. It intercepted the phone lines, and they heard telephone voices concerning the ordering of the shelling.

Bild am Sonntag (today).

And what about the aircraft, more than our earlier mentioned U-2S, who do the same thing? Someone!

Many books in the future concerning this gasing.

This is maybee something for our James Bamford!

Were is very diverging information about the Russian ships. Much information from many sources have information from May 2013. Many of these ships have left the Mediterranean. But new ships are incoming however, and the Russian source today say that the ships remain after the conflict is over.

US have four destroyers in the Mediterranean, and the one frigate and San Antonio.

Several US submarines must be on plac. At least one SSN and one SSGN. During the Libyan conflict US had one SSN and one SSBN (?) .

Russian plan is to made a "protecion shield" around the Syrian sea border with the ships. The Chinese ship step up the heat in conflict, the ships cooperations are certainly cooperated.

Note also that Chinese ships (destroyer and frigate) made today search and rescue operations together with CG Lake Erie in Hawaian waters.
www.navy.mil/view_image.asp?id=161451

it must also be some Chinese ships in Aden waters.

The ship is rather large with 28000 tons, and compairable with the USS LPD San Antonio class. The ship is brand new 2012. Each ship has 4 LCAC and 4 Z-8 Super Frelon. Crew 200 and 800 marines. Nearly 20 APC are carried for transport of marines.

Were is 3 ships of class in China.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_071_amphibious_transport_dock

China and Russia naval several exercises together this summer in the Far East. Some of the Russian ships comes from the Pacific Fleet.

The Russian military sources call the new operations for "complex monitoring" of the situation around Syria (Interfax earlier).

We had not sad much about the air cover of the Syrian Operations, expect the daily U-2S flights between Akrotiri and Al Dhafra.

It must be a very heavy air monitoring of well known aircraft as RC-135, EP-3E, Israeli counterparts etc.

The spy stations at Cyprus etc have to large range to pick up voices from aircraft, tanks, commands etc.

Not yet a sign of Russian intelligence aircraft? Tu-214 are not yet ready, but Il-22 are based in Rostov-on-Don.

They speculate of the informaton source.

Also

US tracked the gas shelling with satellite, shooting and downfall.

The German spyship had commanding voices of the military units participating.

It must had been several air intelligence in area.
