Not so much landscape but a famous landmark, hope you don't mind...
At the end of our recent Greece trip, part of the group decided to miss some more sleep and head up Acropolis hill in Athens around midnight. Obviously, all gates are closed at that time but you have the area virtually to yourself.

Wauw Sowald! The first two pics could be in a scene of Lord of the Rings ;) No smog, beautiful mountainranges etc...I love it!

After spending the night in the Sahara dessert my wife took this picture of our transport back to civilisation.

The Chinese Wall a few miles north of Beijing. It was January 2008 and chilly. The advantage was the absence of smog.
