If it was indeed on a ramp and not at the gate, then maybe it was out of service. Today also two Air France aircrafts on the D-Buffer.
They have: EC-HQI, EC-JZI, EC-KFI and EC-KMI. Registrations ending with the 'I'. By the way: Vueling allready has 50 320's. Didn't know that, quit a lot I think.
Hurricane wrote:How about Air Baltic (YL-BBI) or Pegasus (TC-API) ??
it could be the Pegasus because the Air Baltic comes on the same stand as the Vueling;)
But if the aircraft really was close to the BA and the AF it can only be the buffer I think. The AF is probably at the C-gate and the BA at the D-gate. :S
Chris Deegan is talking about a yellow and white aircraft so I think the Air Baltic with its green tail doesn't fit but the Pegasus is a great option.....

Because of that last fact, I assume he means the C-D ramp. AF was all over the field yesterday, but BA on D stands as asual, AFAIK.
... A plane type would be helpfull so become more specific in the 'hunt'
Based on the given description the 'ramp' is platform / gate's instead of a remote apron (like the D-buffer) and between the C and D-gates is no apron for parking available (just some quick thinking)
Let's try and not make this more complicated than it is. Some more info from Chris could help.
'Ramp' does not necessary mean 'not at gate', methinks. That's why I assume Chris means a plane parked (at a gate) or taxiing in/out at the C-D apron.
The Baltic was a 757 indeed, stand was D14. However, this one departed 13:30LT (Chris mentions 14:00) and was YL-BDB. Not a real match, but not impossible.
Hi All, Problem solved!!!! TC-API. I didn't recognise the tail logo as I've only been spotting a couple of years and didn't see the whole aircraft just the tail.
Thanks for all your help. I look forward to visiting Schiphol again.
