I'm sorry for the group message but I hope you'll forgive me. My dad, Jerzy Barski, who may be known by some of you as a PLL LOT B767 pilot, right now is having a very hard time in his life. He's suffering from lungs cancer. Next week he's having his first chemotherapy. Needles to say, he's devastated. He's afraid of the future and it's difficult for him to have a hope.
I thought we could do something nice toghether to cheer him up a little bit and to give him some strenght to fight with it. Most of you share your photos on aviation forums. I'd like to ask you to dedicate one photo just for him and add some nice words while posting it for example 'Fingers crossed for Jerzy Barski' or 'For Captain Jerzy Barski - get well soon!' and post it on his facebook wall so that he has an easy access to this. If you don't want to do this, you can simply add him to friends (he likes accepting friend request, especially from 'aviation' people). It would be great if the photo was of LOT B767 but I'm sure any aircraft with a nice word attached will be pleasant for him.
The idea appeared in my head rather spontaneously, I really want to do something that would show him that apart from family and friends, there are also people who wish him all the best.
