only codes, the lead was 15-19 (should be MM80988)
and the second 90% 15-38 (or else 15-36) difficult to read from behind

Well, I will kick-off my log for the May 20th during the Spottersday at TLP Florennes. I was not on the base itself, so perhaps I missed some aircraft. Also I do not note squadrons or units, only serials.....

92-3918/SP) USAF
Hawk T.1 XX289/CO and XX329/CJ RAF

Still missing some F-16's from Belgium, including one dual flying over!
At the end two AMI HH-3F Pelicans came in, any serial?

Cheers.

The special c/s OCU is FB18.
The dual wich flew over you mentioned Trueno, I read off from the picture as FB05. The other ones I couldn't make out from the pictures.
Furthermore, I noted FA57 (also read off from picture) being towed in front of the TLP-platform.

How many F-16BM's were seen in this fly by.

I think it was the complete afternoon wave of Kleine Brogel.

I need some confirmation about the BM's after that I can provide the serials.

One I haven't seen mentioned before for the 20th is the FA68/FS. It took off together with FA71 just before the Hawks.

p.s. anyone for a full log of the Belgian F-16s?

I noted on the platform closest to the fence, where some party tents were raised, the following two:

FA-115 nmk - not 100% sure
FA-117/FS

Furthermore flying: FA-103 nmk, FA-81 nmk, FA-98 nmk, FA-86 nmk (in order of take-off)

plus 1 on same platform as above F-16s (was towed away I think), and at least 1 F-16 parked other side of runway in front of large hangar.

Also seen was FA-71 (took off with another one after FRADU Falcon 20 and Hawks).....

Saludos,

Horror
I guess you're mixing up the dates. I was requesting info for the 19th of May, your reply seems to be concerning the 20th of May (spottersday)

And another few for the 20th:
FB22 (left just after the Typhoon came back), and FB17 that was towed.

FB23 was one of the base-attackers.

This one came in as BAF211 and departed as Tiger31.

The fly-by in the afternoon contained two 4-ships; Basic 41flt and Basic51-flt. After the fly-by all 8 a/c went on mission South of Florennes for some target runs in the area. One of which was FA-77. Read from a picture I took.

Hi,

Can anybody tell me where the HH-3s are parked? And are they visable from outside?

Thanks!

When I left the base at 16:20 hours I noted F-16A FA05 on a deeploader (2 deeploaders actually). It was transported to Florennes. I guess it's a travelling exhibit.
All in all a disappointing event with too less photo opportunities en too much mm's.

Of the 8 F-16s which flew through yesterday (20th May), I identified FB-20 and the special c/s (FB-18) from my pics.
Collating other reports above, the list for the 8 looks to be as follows:-

FB-20
FB-18
FB-05
FB-23
FA-77

so 3 more to identify.

Anyone got any more? (hoping that FA-110 or FB-12 were 2 of the unknown 3  )

Regards
Rod :)
