At 15.25 LT an F-16 made what looked like a touch and go.

Couldn't read it though.

Concentreer onderhoud Marine-helikopters in Den Helder

VVD-Kamerlid Hans van Baalen bracht gisteren een werkbezoek aan Den Helder.

Van Baalen wist destijds het Maritiem Vliegkamp De Kooy open te houden. Hij wil dat het onderhoud aan de nieuwe NH90-helikopters, operaties en opleidingen op De Kooy worden geconcentreerd. In Den helder is voldoende geluidsruimte en infrastructuur ter beschikking. Op Gilze-Rijen is dat niet het geval.

Het Defensie Helikopter Commando wint bij spreiding van werkzaamheden, operaties en opleidingen over twee lokaties. Van Baalen heeft staatssecretaris De Vries van Defensie gevraagd de mogelijkheden voor concentratie op De Kooy te laten onderzoeken. Een ambtelijke werkgroep moet advies uitbrengen.

Anyone an idea what was the reason why a Lynx performed a flight as Pedro 2 this afternoon, returning at about 15.00 LT? Eh, I mean a more indepth answer than "a SAR mission".

Hello All,

At 15:00 the 266 returned from an actual SAR missions. It provided back-up help for a Danish fisherboat that was making water.
