From the Aviation Group Leeuwarden Facebook page:

==== English version ====
As the weather is deteriorating we, together with the Airforce, Military Police en the farmer came to the decission to stop the parking at the spottersbult at Marssum.
The pasturage is to wet to park on. It is allowed to park on the hardened parking spot near the Spottersbult, but not on or next to the road to it. It will be enforced.
The Airforce also noted that it is likely that the morning wave of thursday 7th of april will be cancelled due to the weather. This is a weather warning issued. So if you want to come, please do so in the afternoon to prevent disappointment.

According to knmi.nl code yellow for Friesland is not in the morning but in the afternoon as of 14:00 hours. So the strongest winds are p.m. and not a.m.!!!

Whether or not the authorities were enforcing isn't of great importance to me. I think most people know the importance of "keeping clear"

I would however like to know if the RCAF jets are to leave all at once or in different groups/days. Would appreciate this info to be posted in due time.

As for the AGL and all involved in the effort; a big thumbs up for organising parking and other facilities.

Till next edition!

I repeat my earlier info: the Canadians will start preparing their jets for the return flight from coming Monday and probably the first batch will leave for Prestwick already on Tuesday.

Regarding AGL: indeed well done again!

I thought the Canadians would move on to Eastern Europe, eg. Romania?

Edit:should first check
Form offical Canada site:
Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CF-18 Hornet fighter jets will deploy to the Netherlands from March 22 to April 15 for simulated air combat training alongside NATO Allies at the Royal Netherlands Air Force’s (RNLAF) annual Exercise FRISIAN FLAG 22

Nothing on a forward deployment.

Nope, this FF deployment was 433 squadron, their sister squadron 425 will soon move to Romania again for another Air Policing Mission.

Okay
But I noticed at least 3 aircraft had 425 marking in the top of the tail.

Maybe the aircraft remain in Europe and 425 personal come over!? (me just speculating)

Nope, all six will return to Canada. Indeed four out of six Hornets belong to the inventoy of 425 sq, but these were loaned to 433 for the exercise. 3 Wing had eight aircraft assigned to be made ready to cross the pond for the exercise, 4 of each squadron, so there would be two spares. And that was no luxery, as two of the 433 jets broke down in Canada. That's why there were no less than 4 Hornets with 425 sq mks. But everything else, from pilots to technicians, is from 433 squadron.
When 433 is home again, 425 will get ready to go to Romania as said. And they will no doubt again bring a mixture of jets from both units.
