Assisted by the Bergingsdienst and the Koninklijke Marine, Thursday March 21st our Volkel gate guard F-16A J-240 has come back to earth after almost 16 years of duty. In due time it will be replaced by J-616; the first F-16 delivered to Volkel on May 14th 1982. Some parts of J-240 will be used for J-616. What will happen to J-240 is to be decided.
