construction number 641: 448, Code: 3-XG

This picture is taken in 2005 so I doubt the code of this aircraft is still the same... As for this c/n I rather want to get it checked at Volkel then read off 'somewhere on the internet'

Thanks for trying to help us out though.

That photo was taken in 2005, so don't jump to conclusions about its code. It was noted earlier this month as 3-JW.

641 / 3-JW c/n 448
651 / 3-LG c/n 491

When I am home, I will send a picture of the correct c/n plate
for a Mirage 2000.

Hey allen,

Ben net op mijn vrije dag toch maar even vroeg uit de veren gegaan om de twee Mirages te bekijken.
Toen ik om 8:35lt aan kwam bij de cross-line stonden ze al te draaien, dus ze zullen ieder moment vertrekken.

Groetjes, Rob.

Departed Volkel

Freq 276.1 (Dutchmill) at or direct the R2 area. Excercise at flightlevel 110 to 112 or even lower depending on the weather.

Had de kist er 3-LG of 33-LG opstaan ? Als het 33- is dan zou het de unit van Djibouti kunnen zijn, EC 03.011. Of is dit ook alweer achterhaald.

33-L. is used bij de Mirage 2000C/D's which are stationed in Djibouti.

Reims is changing to 112-codes these days...
In the near future the Nancy-codes will change to 133-..
They will all use there airbase number in their codes.

Leaves us still with the question which squadron the 651/3-LG belongs to.

Regards, Rob.

Just saw some pictures from the aircraft and it wears a badge on the tail from BR 44 (3 Esc) EC.03.003 on both sites.

Here an example of the correct Mirage 2000 c/n plate. You can find this plate in the Left Hand Main Landing Gear Bay.
But you need a torch to "read" this plate.

These plates are from FAF Mirage 2000C 77 c/n 317 okt 1990

The second plate is from the FUSELAGE build at Argenteuil
