Predictive flight behaviour VT F-35s?

Hi all,

Planning a trip to SP and it seems the VT F-35s follow a different schedule then the previous HL deployment?
The HL F-35s tended to depart early morning, return mid afternoon and depart early evening again, but it seems the VT aircraft depart somewhere mid morning. Does anyone know if there are - more or less - fixed departures and arrivals for these VT aircraft or will it just be old school spotting and sit behind the fence waiting for action, if any?
