If you are visiting Schleswig-Jagel for AD23 and you are interested in W&R;
We noticed a tail less Tornado yesterday whit fake serial “38+08” and AG-51 badge
It lays south-west of the main gate between some buildings and behind some trees, a quick search reveals no candidate for this Tonka.

Leonard
Are you sure this is not "38+09"? There had been a GIA Tornado for many years with this fake serial. Not sure if that was a real one though.

WE HAVE JUST BEEN ASKED BY THE SQUADRON TO ADVISE YOU TO KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF THE FENCE!!! PLEASE KEEP DISTANCE FROM THE FENCE. HOLES HAVE BEEN CUT IN THE FENCE AND WIRE REMOVED! IT WOULD BE A PITY IF MEETING ON THE FENCE WAS COMPLETELY UNDERSIDED SOON!!

Some things never change - like our community's ability to really ruin everything for everyone else. I can understand hooking the 2 strands of barbed wire together but ... actually cutting holes in the fence? That's begging for problems.

Having never been at Jagel myself, do they normally fly 05/23 or the shorter but wider 07/25? Or do they use both?

IMHO 'the spotters community' is the hundreds enjoying the exercise and sharing info without doing any harm. Those selfish dumb elements within it that ruin it for the rest should absolutely be addressed for their behaviour by anyone witnessing it.

Any info on the morning mission at Jagel? Hohn is good (see that topic), is Jagel picking up the pace after the slow start yesterday?

So far today:
4x Tornado
2x THK F-16
7× ANG F-16 (incl. AL tail)
4x A-10

Runway 05 in use.

Unlike Hohn yesterday no warning for birds at runway end, so low transitions are allowed. (Some did)

No Gripens as yet.

2 x A-10 should be on a day trip to the baltics. Does anybody have the numbers of those 2? Thanks!!
