Depends on where the aircraft are parked.

There are no fighters based at Lechfeld anymore, so the A-10’s could operate from the shelters.

A-10s 78-0584, 78-0643, 79-0194, 80-0218, 80-0250, 81-0955 all ID/190FS arrived yesterday at Prestwick.

Lechfeld is one of the worst airfields in Germany for spotting. Only the northside offers some possibilities for approaching aircraft. The base itself is nearly impossible.

Thats not correct, on both sides (N+S) it is possible.

Hélas, not 'Just', that's a fenced-off part. (non-subscriber-fencing), but thanks for the input anyway Jurgen.
But anywhichway, I'd like to hear the latest from a local spotter with recent 'kenntnisse'.
