Surprise visitors for today(14th July-Bastille Day) are 3 Rafale B/C calling FAF7401,which arrived around 17.40LT.

These jets were preceded by CTM1780(a transport) landing around 16.45.

CTM 1780 appears to be a CN235M number 165 62-IT showing on SBS as having departed around 18.30 LT.

Thanks to Fighter control,the Ralale details are now known,

FAF7401A 318 113-HM
FAF7401B 118 113-IW
FAF7401C 330 113-IE

All 3 of these jets have been sheltered in the 11 Sqn area.

Is it known how long they will stay?? By the way: what about flying activites on royal air force bases on a friday?!

Unfortuantly that's not known at this time.Coningsby should fly on Fridays until at least 16.00 LT.

A further transport flight would be a likely prospect when these Rafales depart.

An educated guess for thier departure would be Friday the 16th.
