After more than three years of reduced commercial opening hours, the corner may have been turned with a new FBO, Universal Aviation becoming established here since January 2021. Initially effective from Monday 17th May, the new commercial opening hours will be 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday.
The base will also be open to commercial movements on selected dates on weekends, to offer access during major events at the nearby Wembley Stadium. The initial announced weekend openings will be on Sunday 13th June and Sunday 11th July.
