Does anyone have any pics of Scrambles?.

I remember standing in the garden of this friendly woman who lived next to the runway, and it was always to damn awesome when the eagles would scramble, pulling up at the end of the runway would make for great photo ops.

We even reached it today!

But thanks everybody, for those wonderfull pictures. Love to see the history of EHSB, which I grew up next to, and which I'm so attached on. Still I'm convinced I was born too late, and missed wonderfull years. (I only experienced the last view years of the American F-15's here. (so '93/'94, was 6/7 years old then.)

But seeing this pictures, I can at least see al those wonderfull planes that visited Soesterberg, and I'm really enjoying that! Thanks!

Not eighties but almost.....

Just been in contact with a former Bolivian AF Fokker F-27 pilot, he (and crew) flow a TAM F-27 to EHSB in 1990 for service. Who has the photo.

I might be wrong, but as far as I know (read: think) TAM-93 was the last one that was in Holland for maintenance. That was in OCT 1988 (at Schiphol).

Correct me if I am wrong though!

Nice QRA pics, but i`m looking for pics that are less.. randje-randje.

But pics from when they would pull up at the end of the runway.

Standing on the road that runs between the base and the hill would also give great photo`s since they would pull up right above you.

(i got rid of my slides about 10 years ago when i called it quits.. now i`m kicking myself in the head for that)
