...my father was an aircraft technician at RF/F-84F when he graduated from Hellenic Air Force Technical NCO Academy in 1966, so old photos of this aircraft are "important" to me...

P.S: unfortunately my dad doesn't have photos of RF/F-84F from the 60ties... :cry:

I see ! In that case this remarkable picture of the Maintenance Hangar at Larissa in July of 1972 with some (R)F-84F aircraft in front of it will perhaps look familiar to your father? :W:

Henk,
In my opinion this picture was made at Eindhoven in 1968 , that is to say in the 315 squadron area : Maintenance Hangar in the background to the right
and long flight-line of 315 squadron in the background to the left behind the "dike". :wink:

Took this 11 May 2004 at Castle AFB Museum, Atwater, California.

RF-84F Model

Since another post on this forum was asking about info for a model,
I presumed I could post a photo of my recently completed RF-84F model.
Built from Heller/Fonderie RF kits plus Monogram F-84F, AMS Resin "Euro"
detail set and my own photo etch wing fences and speed brakes. Unit
decal is my artwork printed on inkjet. 48th scale.

Because you must link to the actual picture, so incl. the jpg extension. If you use this link http://www.panoramio.com/photos/original/15736159.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and then put [img]in%20front%20and[/img] behind it, it works.

is er trouwens misschien nog iemand die een plattegrond heeft van geheel Eindhoven AFB in oude tijden (50-er of 60-er jaren) ?

You should have warned me : we passed the thirty thousand view-mark without a small celebration! :zzzz:
We have to catch up with that , so here is my post of a trio of Dutch Thunderstreaks at Eindhoven in 1966 !
