Although they are a bit early for this topic (October 1969), I hope you will like these slide scans of my visit to aircraft carrier USS Yorktown, which visited Rotterdam harbour on October 18th, 1969.

Wow...those were the days (apparently)...But I guess carrier visits to Rotterdam Harbour were rare too at that time?

For much of the 1969 I was busy, but not so much with my camera

Most of my time was spent as a communicator. (I wrote an article about it).

And only once in a while was I able to catch an aircraft in front of my lens (in this case a borrowed lens)

On August 22nd, 1975, I received permission to visit US Army Maurice Rose Airfield, also known as Bonames (EDEN).
The weather was awful, but here are a few impressions.

S-3A 157995 at NAS Willow Grove, PA 14 September 1974. I have also seen this aircraft referred to as the 4th YS-3A, and perhaps it was originally designated as such. Seen here in NATC markings, this was my first shot of a Viking.
