REQ w&r Palermo

Post by witje »

On our way to Palermo I saw at a scrapyard along the highway E90 two F-104 fuselages. One is just the front part and should be MM6544, but the other one was an airframe without cockpit and tail. I can't find anything about this one. It was lying on a roof and was clearly visible from the highway.
Someone more info on this one?

At the University of Palermo the Fiat G59 is now preserved in a box of glass and good visible from outside. Also the F-104 is still there and at the airport the G91 was still outside.

I think I found my answer: MM6540. If someone can confirm this it would be great.
