Starman on holiday!

Post by Starman »

In case you were wondering, no, Starman doesn't mean I'm a (big) David Bowie fan, but this is what I do when I'm not spotting! Noted last week around and about:

Image
My first stop, the 25+02 at Laage, lovely weather for the time of year!

Image
Next, the 29+16, formerly at Aurich, now at Zehdenick. The owner is friendly, but cagey! Best to let the Brits do the talking. He will be getting the 21+12 from Neubrandenburg soon, reports are that due to corrosion they will be combined into one display a/c. I hope not!

Image
Then to Berlin, there was some Air Show on, but I had a number of targets at Gatow, as you can see, the Germans really don't do weather, how do you people live in eternal greyness :?

Image
Next, the impressive Wernigerode collection, very tempted to post a pic of the E-Type instead, but this is the one I went for, so enjoy!

Image
The famous old 20+45 at Laatzen, almost impossible to capture, but immaculately kept!

Image
And at last, the sun came out! I won't say where this is or what the correct serial is as there was some mention of no photos on the fence, but it's msn 5058!

Apart from the aforementioned 21+12 I did try the WIS at Munster, where the 22+24 clings to life, but couldn't see anything from outside. (If anyone knows anyone ...)
