Post by Le Addeur noir »

With the USN C-2A activity in Thai airspace today, the prospect of a port visit to Thailand of the USS George Washington is considered highly likely.

Is 166861 definately NF301 as it used to be NF302 and is 166862 definately NF302 as it used to be NF303?

If so, does anyone know what modex 166860 now carries please as this used to be NF301?

Regards and thanks

Hello Mark,

An error crept in,there. The VFA-115 list will be edited very shortly.

As expected, the US GW departed today and the 2 C-2A at U-Tapao re-joined her at around 17.00LT.

There were probably around 4 F/A-18s on the top deck that cound not be read from the dockside. The other side is inaccessable and you were too close! and low too read those ones from the dock side. There were at least 2 SH-60s on top that were also not read.

All the deck doors were open and no unidentified airplanes were seen below deck during my visit.Last year 7 F/A-18s could be seen below deck.
