Hi, Howard. Try seawall area, RWY 20 end. Due to airfield location it is the only suitable spot. Good after 3 pm.

Hello,

Does anyone know how often the JMSDF U-36A fly at RJOI and if they're likely to participate at the USMC/Iwakuni Airshow on 5th May, 2024 please?

I understand that possibly 9201 and 9204 have already been retired at the beginning of this year.

I would love to try and see these before they retire. I'm wondering if they'll end up in museums perhaps?

Many thanks for any help.

Hi. James. March 2023 9204 was flying. No info about current activity. Try tomura.lolipop.jp, maybe you'll find needed info.
