Log & Req - Montana 23rd July 2011

As I have been in Montana for work and I had a spare day before I flew home I headed up state to explore Helena Regional Airport and Great Falls International(!) Airport. Obviously if anyone can help confirm the identify the AH-1's at Helena it would be much appreciated.

There was also a line of 12 AH-1’s lined up against a wall near the Constellation. The first 5 had the following markings on their tail:-

None of the others were identified as they were parked too close together and no-one was around to ask for closer look so if anyone has these identities I would be most grateful

There was no sign of any activity at the ANG base - in fact I am not sure that the gate was even manned! I thought that they were meant to be 'weekend warriors'!

Montana ANG was present in force (with six F-15) last weekend at Klamath Falls for the Sentry Eagle exercise.
