New RAPCON West frequency

Post by Henk Voortwijs »

According to a message from Ernesto Bauer on DMRG, the following frequency was in use by RAPCON West: 290.5750 MHz.

Does anybody know's if this frequency replaces one of the other RAPCON West frequencies?

I have this frequency in my scanner as: Dutch Mil ATCC > Radar UAC 5.

Sincerely,
Henk.

This morning Soesterberg Tower handed an aircraft over to RAPCON West on the frequency 132.5250 MHz.
I have this frequency in my scanner as RAPCON South.
Is Dutch Mil chancing there frequencies? Or am I wrong with my discriptions?

Henk.

Today also a couple of aircrafts were handed over from Soesterberg Tower to RAPCON West at 290.5750 MHz.

So I think we can confirm that this is the new frequency. But how about the other RAPCON West frequencies: 281.4750 MHz and 375.8750 MHz?
I didn't receive any comms on the first one lately and on the second one there is a constant signal.

And is the VHF frequency (123.5750 MHz) still in use? Last week a couple of aircrafts were hand over to RAPCON West at 132.5250 MHz. Until then, that was RAPCON South.

So the question still is: is Dutch Mill chancing there frequencies?

If 290.575 is would be a new RAPCON West frequency, what will be the new frequency from UAC 5? Because 290.575 is according to me UAC 5.

Well, according to the NOTAM 375.875MHz is u/s. Maybe the 290.575MHz
is a common RAPCON West freq for Soesterberg AND Gilze/ Einhoven as well from now on?

Coastguard 01 just handed over from Soesterberg Tower to RAPCON West on 125.9250 MHz.
This frequency used to be TMA G, so another change?

The 125.9250MHz is already in use for a while at Soesterberg.

In contrast with this NOTAM the 373.4250 MHz (Soesterberg Arrival) was in use this afternoon.

M1018/07 - RAPCON WEST FREQUENCIES 375.875MHZ AND 373.425MHZ U/S 11 JUN 14:15 2007 UNTIL 31 DEC 23:59 2007

I don't know if this is temporary or definitive.
