Squawk/ transponder codes Netherlands

Post by AK01 »

hi,
Is there anyone who can help me with an overview of the squawkcodes for the Dutch airfields, and then specially the military airfields.
So for instance Gilze 3601- 3607 ? etc.
I found a general list for NL which only gives details for the civil airfields, i also found detailed info on the UK aerodromes which list all military airfileds in details, but nothing for NL.
Waiting for your reply,
Pieter,

SSR codes for Leeuwarden, under control by Rapcon or Tower: 1st flight 5411 and up, 2nd flight 5421 and up etc.
From memorie: Volkel does the same.

QRA Alpha: 1313, 1314.

Spine thanks, that's indeed what im looking for.
Joost, i found your list, problem with that one is it only list EH MIL, it doesn't specify for whihc airfield the code is. Or is it possible that Leewarden and Volkel use (for instance) 5401 at the same time?

SSR5401,2, etc. is only for civies working LWD tower, for MIL they start with 5411 as explained. From memory Volkel and LWD can use both at the same time.

I long back to the time they used 54AJ squawks: i.e. 5411 was AJ11 = J-868.

Pieter,
From memory I believe there were SSR blocks assigned to each airfield.. Having said that; Leeuwarden used 54xx with xx being their AJ tactical (AJ24 = SSR5424) but began using series mentioned by Spine. Not quite sure which SSR block Volkel is using but believe same system as Leeuwarden. Not sure anymore which series are used during Departure / Using W1S-N routes could very well be in 45xx series....

Believe Lifeliners are using fixed SSR Codes : 6221/2/3/4
Police Helo's SSR 6220, but wil look in Mode-s history to if they use other SSR codes EDIT Tkx Ebauer

Traffic crossing The Netherlands (USAF AMC traffic for instance) will get a Dutch Mil SSR on Eastbound track (472x or 473x series) on handover from London, but retain their SSR when Westbound so no Dutch Mil SSR will be Shown (Believe there is a Agreement between Germany, Netherlands and Belgium to retain assigned SSR in Upper Airspace), they will get a London SSR code on handover to London civil/Mil from Dutch Mil (606x = 259.600)

Traffic wkg Bandbox will have SSR in 12xx or 15xx series from Memory
