Cambridge (CBG/EGSC) 27 Sep

Hi all, I called at Cambridge today (first visit ever) to hopefully make a few C-130s in and around Marshall's. I saw a total of 12 Hercs, but only identified two examples :( G-275 of the Netherlands Air Force and South Africa 409 were ID'd. Another grey Herc was noted inside a hangar, seemingly als...

Re: EHWO 21-07-2017

Gentlemen, just wondering: Since Friday's flight of FAC0002 was originally planned from WOE down to Dinard, but ended up being WOE-WOE, does that mean that a problem was discovered, and that the departure planned for Tuesday could be delayed? I'm seriously considering driving down from Copenhagen to...

Re: Schleswig-Jagel (ETNS) 2014 MIL

Erwin, no, you're right - I have now seen pictures of the two red helos at Karup and Jagel respectively and can confirm that they were indeed in the same special colour scheme. Apparently my memory was playing tricks on me, telling me that one was special colours and the other a more bland red colou...

Re: Schleswig-Jagel (ETNS) 2014 MIL

Made two quick stops at Jagel on Friday 20 June enroute to Finkenwerder and back. Have tied up most of my sightings from logs provided here (thx to contributors!) but two frames remain unindentified: We saw 2x BO-105 helos, one in standard colours that was completely unreadable and on in red special...

Re: Wreck/old fuselage at Baldonnel, Ireland

Gentlemen,

I knew I could count on you :D
The fuselage in the airliners.net photo is indeed what I saw.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Wreck/old fuselage at Baldonnel, Ireland

I went on a full tour of the Irish Air Corps base at Baldonnel earlier today. Out on the field near the fire training area, I could see an old fuselage. Whilst hard to judge the size exactly, since nothing else was nearby, I would say it *could* be Viscount/C-54 size. It is visible on Google Earth a...

Re: EHAM 08-03-2012

Hi all, spent the last two days spotting at AMS, mainly from the terrace as I had no wheels available. I have managed to tie up most of my requests from this excellent board and the Dutchspotters web site, but I am left with a few queries for Thursday that I am unable to identify from the posts in t...
