Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"

For those of you who remember Leo 'Balthasar' Dor(t?)land (big guy from Zeist, 'active' at Soesterberg at least between 1978 and 1981): he was on the '8 uur journaal' this evening as a Flevoland police force spokesman. See http://www.nos.nl/nosjournaal/artikelen/2009/1/8/080109_pincampagne.html . Ge...

Couldn't help posting one, too. Check out the dashboard :) : http://server3.uploadit.org/files/Schef15-20081118IMG51122.jpg Many thanks to the BIC staff and GRAS for organizing, let's hope it can be arranged a second (and third, and fourth...) time! Preferably with full moon and/or a starry night......

Beautiful pictures, really wonderful! But against these colourful backgrounds the grey c/s on Cougar S-454 looks even more boring...

Another blast from the past, dug out from my ancient colour print archives and scanned by Jan van Waarde. From left to right: the blondie with the wild hairdo Steven Oostindiër (SG De Kooy) - the other with the wild hairdo Roel Lodder - someone with the red 57th FIS badge (dunno his name, sorry) - J...

The pictures of Sander are more sharp, sure, but why did you post nearly exactly the same shots of the AMI C-27 and CE-03  ??

Nice pictures!
I learned that 30-QU, the one with the huge belly tank, did not fly that morning, but is there anyone else who can enrich this topic with a Mirage, taking off, flying or landing with a monstruous tank like this one? Just curious what it looks like :D

I don't mind a little crop when it improves a pic. Maybe sometimes you overdone

Say, am I cross-eyed or what? What's the use of posting pictures of the same aircraft from the same angle? Do you guys check each others posts or do you just want to dump your own??

Sorry Eric, I don't agree and I'm in a bad mood  :
- missing points and tips,
- horizon not horizontal,
- not centered,
- and again the same shots of aircraft already posted,
- and why so many?

Have a good time at Nellis.
