It is indeed. PA-28-151 EC-CYE, pretending to be a Beech. It has no military history.

Actually, the DB does say just that. In the status column is says 'Active', not 'To Civil'....
Anyway, answer was given above.
By the way, for those interested, planned routing of TC-GVA was Fortaleze - Lisbon - Brussels.

Re: 3 Virginia Airfields Trip - July 18 2021

That Beech in Manassas belongs to Aviation Institute of Maintenance, a technical school with also a Learjet and a few Cessnas. It is in the blue/white building visible on the second picture. I guess that spot is kind of their gate guard. A few months ago Cessna 152 N757YU was seen outside at that sp...

It will be unlikely that it will be the 14807, 14808 or the 14811!
Why? 14808 flew yesterday.

Re: Video spam

And we have arrived at the next level: using stupid iconographs in topic titles to draw more attention to it. How much clearer must it get that videos are only posted to attract views (and thereby money). Hence, it is SPAM! And about solutions, I have suggested that already. Remove the video topics ...

Indian HPT-32 pole sitters

India has always been a country where new Wrecks and Relics can be found in batches. However, lately that has been the case even more. About a decade ago the Indian Air Force removed the HPT-32 primary trainer from its inventory. The plane had the tendency to shut down mid-flight, which apparently w...

I cannot see the picture, but it must be the one at Kidzmondo (not the same company, but same concept). Here is a picture of the plane being moved through Beirut: https://blogbaladi.com/plane-stuck-in-traffic-in-downtown-beirut/ I think it is a B737, but anybody for a possible identity? Kidzmondo wa...

Then the Piper must be gone. It was painted red and right next to the road, you can't have missed it. It is still visible on Street View, but not on Google Earth.
And I am glad the website can be of help on such a trip, that's what we all do it for!

Lama is the I-APUS c/n 2539, marked as OE-EXL.
And yes, it is preserved.

Bingo.
First SAR Alouette 3 came into service early 1966, last Alouette 2 left late 1966. For a few months these flew together.
Just like the situation now with the tankers.
