Re: Operations EPIC FURY & ROARING LION - USA/Israel against Iran

So that means two A-10s shot down yesterday?

Well, this was an H-47: https://x.com/TheDeadDistrict/status/20 ... 0179552584

Re: Operations EPIC FURY & ROARING LION - USA/Israel against Iran

From what I am reading, the HH-60 was RTB, while the A-10 was downed. But.... you know... fog of war.

HH-60 was said to be trailing smoke while crossing back into Iraq. Here is a pic of one with smoke, no idea where the pic was taken though.

USAF tankers hit at Prince Sultan AB

Satellite images (together with Sentinel imagery) seems to show several USAF tankers may have been hit while parked in the open at Prince Sultan AB in Saudi Arabia. Can't rely on it for an accurate assessment, but there seem to have been at least one big fire on the ramp.

Re: Operations EPIC FURY & ROARING LION - USA/Israel against Iran

Video of an Iranian drone attack on a US Blackhawk. Obviously the video cuts out just before impact, so no way of telling if and how the bird got damaged.

Lisbon (LPPT/LIS) 2026 CIV

Quite a rare bizjet came in last evening (22/3) and left today (23/3) at 17.30: WW.1124 PS-MVC.
Interesting note: it was parked next to his brother WW.1124 PP-SDW which has been here for more than 5 years already. Not very common, to see two Westwinds side by side...

Re: Calcinato, Italy

Remark2: The F-86K is only marked N.C. 109 on the tail which leads me to believe the tail/rear fuselage is of MM55-4869. Eurodemobbed has this as tail of MM54-1288, which is unlikely as that has c/n 58. So perhaps it is the other way around, depending wether the tail or the whole rear fuselage was ...

Re: Calcinato, Italy

I do not believe the G.91 to be MM6311, that one has long been reported as being in Torino and I believe it still is there (or again).
The F-86 is most likely the MM55-4869 with a different tail. Reason is that the one in Volla can be clearly seen with 54869 in the tail, but c/n 98 on the fuselage ...
