Re: Día de la Hispanidad - Madrid Armed Forces Parade - 12 O

Some of this stuff was already rehearsing from Torrejon when I was there on 30 Sept and 1 Oct, including the 707. So early Oct seems to be a good time to go there.

And supposedly built in 1941... so something is wrong there.
The MS.502 was radial engined, it might have been re-engined I suppose, but according to another source it is ex C-FIWG, and an MS.500.

Re: Shoreham, Restrictions on vintage jets announced

Certainly. All 787s, Concordes and DC-10s were grounded after incidents/crashes, for example, which cost millions.

Hunters are flying only for fun, instead outsiders were killed. Of course you ground them until it's clear what happened. Rather than a knee-jerk reaction, it's a no-brainer.

For the preserved HSS-1 Sebat at Lanvéoc, Scamble gives s/n 7 and c/n SA50. However, according to Paul Jackson's old 'French Military Aviation' the Sud-built S-58s had c/ns SA51-SA158 with corresponding serials, with SA50 being an H-19, and Sikorsky-built aircraft S-58s were Nos 248 and upwards. Lifeliner is PH-EMS
Bell 47 is D-HWAL, somewhat photographable, but why oh why can't they display their special guests properly

No Bird Dog or O-2 by 12.45 hours; they probably just mean O-2 Skymaster N590D

Edit: Lifeliner is PH-ELP.

Thanks Antal, you clearly have done a lot of work already. I like to visit smaller, off the beaten track shows and I'll certainly inform you when I find one.
