Het zal wederom een bezoek in de avond zijn dus avondvliegen :D !! De aanvang zal 17:30 zijn en we zullen rond 23:00 weer het veld verlaten....

Hi Wijgert, Lajes is on Terceira Island. The only dutch airliner which flies on it is TUI AIR. It will fly from may to september. It depart from Schiphol Amsterdam and it will direct fly to Lajes itself. This is the only operator I know and ofcourse TAP. Hope this helps. And If I can help anyone ple...

It was still wearing the USAF symbol. The serial 811 was very small close to it!!

Gips and all, I suspect 811 is for the Air Force of Oman and will be delivered along with the others to save an extra flight on it's own involving more tankers etc. As for callsigns, RETRO, TREND, SLIP, CUBE, MAZDA and ZESTY have all been used for ferry flights with HURON now being used as well.
