Re: 10th CAB returns to CONUS

In the other thread the Steinweg company is mentioned. Which would make it at the Elbeweg 101 in Europoort. Not official though (as the original press release does not explicitly mentions this.) Also unknown to me when the first choppers come through.

The helo's will fly into Rotterdam port
That will be 10 CAB returning home, not 1 CAB.

Some posts on the FB page of Eindhoven airbase suggests that are is some stuff inbound today. It's all a bit vague (it reeks off "people in the know know stuff etc. etc. But let's not go there..) but there might be some things aloft next to the alreadymentioned stuff. Related to http://forum.sc...

Re: Europe Oct 2017: Fort Hood 1st CAB 1st Cav. Div. to come

According to a post in the Facebook group of Rotterdam - The Hague airport (see: https://www.facebook.com/groups/rotterdamRTHA/) stuff returning from Germany to US will route via Eindhoven AB - Rotterdam harbour - US. I do not have an official source for this (although the text seems official..) so ...

Phantom

Gefilmd vlak voor de uitfasering van de F-4F. Met een vlieger die zeker jonger is dan de Phantom die hij vliegt ;-)

Two Cougars are on deck now. One is the S-441 (nearest to the hangar) Other is a mystery. Tried every angle but unable to see something. Didn't have any binos and also tried to keep an eye on my two toddlers ;-)

Don't know why the USAF and RAF RC-135 have to sniff around almost every day along the coast of Kalingrad almost every day. It's like they want to provoke a conflict, as I can not imagine there is so much new informationnto gather every day ... Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) is the reason I guess.. ...

Re: Portugal to buy KC-390

Nice indeed, but at the same time I'm a bit puzzled why a nation like Portugal invests in no less than 5 of these tankers for such a small fleet of F-16's they have now. Or is will these also be used for pan-European / NATO transport/tanker capacity (EATC)? Or is this an example on how far you can b...
