Must be the most awkward background I have ever seen in an aircraft related picture ;-) Nice one!

Hi, nice pictures, but might I recommend to play a little bit more with your light settings, sharpness and composition? Some pictures are dark and some are hindered by obstructions in the picutre (like the landing Tornado with the traffic lights in the lower right corner). If improved, some can beco...

I can relate partly to the story of Rene (biesenbeek) as far as uniformed authorities go and there lack of English. I only had trouble around Grossetto where we were asked to not take pictures and were actually being in the approach was no problem. No issues around Pisa, Viterbo, Grazzanise, Capua, ...

Although I understand your concerns Richard, I must admit that this thingy called Google Earth isn't helping the boys and girls from the USAF security police very much. Just check the whereabouts of 49°26'11.58"N / 7°35'40.66"E Making pictures of this realltime is a different story, but th...

Well, at least there are Phantoms! In a few years this species will be extinct (at least close to home). So enjoy it while we still can..

Well, quality wise yes, but remember the quantity and diversity was a lot less those days.. You can check the old showreports on that one. Remember that an operational F-104 in those days was the same as an F-16 in our days. Hard to imagine, but I am sure seasoned Leeuwarden or Volkel spotters in 19...

Received an E-mail from the spottinggroup I'm a member of (SGHK) that a spottersday will be held on Wednesday the 9th of April. Four members of each spottinggroup are given access to the base from 1200 - 1600 hours. So if you are a member and haven't heard anything from your own group, maybe wise to...
