Re: RNLAF selects C-390M as C-130 replacement

Well probably Embraer told them. Few things come to mind, 2 instead or 4 engines, new design with less parts. Certainly compared to basically a 70 year old design. And the aircraft is designed and build by anaircraft cooperation that build many commercial aircraft so they know how to keep the mainte...

Re: RNLAF selects C-390M as C-130 replacement

Can't find the article this quick but in it , it was mentioned that the KC-390 was easier to operated compared to the (K)C-130 for different tasks and switching of tasks and also less were needed in total. Most probably in cooperation with the ordered H225 for SOF ops. What' is remarkable is that th...

Re: Defile 14 Juillet 2024 Paris

Many thanks for the reactions and I think everything is now covered, except for the PdF Alpha Jets. Well not part of the Defile but still: Already a question before a log. At 12.45 local a AS555 followed by a AS532 with special forces hanging under it flew over the city near where the president was...

Already a question before a log.
At 12.45 local a AS555 followed by a AS532 with special forces haging under it flew over the city near where the president was sitting. Both not showing on ASDB .
Anyone?

Re: Villacoublay (LFPV/VIY) 2024 MIL

Hello Erik What time did EBC arrive? I noticed a blue tail NH90 over the Bois de Boulogne between roughly 7.30 and 8.30 but ASDB showed this one as EBW.(I understand this could be wrong in ADSB) And are you sure of EBC at Charters ECB was seen with special markings! Or are these different markings t...

I'm think the roundabout at Rte de la Muette à Neuilly at the Bois de Boulogne, which is bit more open compared to city
A few meters more south along the lake, unobstructed view over the water.

Also as subject in a novel:
Heldere hemel by Tom Lanoye.

With google (Mig-23 crash Kortrijk) you find dozens of articles and pictures.

Question what happened to the air frames tail section? As it was largely in tact. (Couldn't find anything in all the google hits :D )
