... not only that, but they state that they plan to come to Holland (which probably means the RNethAF's open day). As they say themselves: last year they weren't planned to perform at all but still did 11 meetings (9 in France); for 2008 they have an official OK for the airshow season. Always impres...

found the DHL 757 (OO-DPF) in the topic for today (5-1), as it departed 0100 and was logged by Martijn. Thanks to him, too.

Anyone for: the two UAL B767's (new c/s) that were present on the H-ramp around 1300? I think one of them was N646UA, is that correct? And were the same two aircraft still present around 2000? The 2 Atlas 747's, the white 747, the DHL 757 and the Gemini MDC10/11 present at Sierra-platform around 200...

You can find it in the woods on the eastern side of the field in some small, old German WW-2 hangars! Follow the route to the ...

Hi Iwan, the An225 is already parked on the taxitrack "next" to runway 18/36C, so, when leaving, it does not have to cross either overpass (A4/rwy09) you mention! It is already on the correct side of the A4 motorway. Two interesting observations given the weatherforecast and the time of departure th...

the teletext message translates roughly into what was already discussed in this thread: 2 F-16's out of Leeuwarden were scrambled to intercept a helicopter that was flying without comms over the southwestern part of Holland. Overhead Almere one of the F-16's (or both) went supersonic. Apparently sev...

See the other topics in military news; it was the QRA from Leeuwarden on a scramble; AJ54 seems to be the one that went supersonic over the middle of the country; AJ61 followed a bit later and appears to have remained subsonic.
