They are gone,they flew a mission to offshore test area and went back to their base,by the way they now carry red and black checkerboard markings and TR in High-Res white on tail.

Both Crew have been identified by US Navy Officials,the instructor pilot was id as Navy LT. Rhiannon Ross of Wixom,MI and the other crew was Coast Guard Ensign Morgan Garrett from Waxhaw,NC.

Details are limited but confirmed it was T-6 from Nas Whiting Field and both crew were killed.

Mcas Miramar just has said they are there,no further info as to what or how long they will be there KNIGHT 1 and 2 arrived from Tonopah.

The 495Th FS will be reactivated at Raf Lakenheath and will be F-35A squadron and the first aircraft will arrive late 2021.Confirmed by 48Th Fw Spokesperson by e-mail to Air Force Magazine and is now on RAF Lakenheath page.
